Quality Engineer

Requisition ID: 33134- Job Location(s): Santiago De Queretaro, MXDanfoss Power solutions is seeking for a **Sr Quality Engineer **to be located in our PMC Queretaro Plant.

In this role you will be responsible for monitoring and controlling the quality process at the assigned area and developing and driving actions plans for improvements and leading quality investigations in respond to customers concerns.

**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Liaison between plant quality department and customer quality department.
- Develops and leads action plans to prevent and resolve customer and quality issues.
- Lead Customer response through PPAP 8Ds, control Plans, Return Material Authorization (RMA)
- Performs Quality Process and Quality System Audits on cell in charge and upload the appropriate reports to the Quality system site as required.
- Leads Problem solving activities using tools such as 8Ds, DOE (Design Of Experiments), 5Why’s, etc.
- Leads actions towards resolution on Warranty Failures related with the manufacturing process.
- Supports to new Product Introduction with Advanced Planning Quality Process and other related activities..
- Comply with requirements of Quality and Environmental Managements Systems.
- Responsible of non-conforming product, identification, disposition and action plans to avoid reoccurrence.
- Provides leadership and support to Quality Technicians and Quality Auditor
- Participates into the definition, validation and closure of corrective actions from customer quality concerns, deviations and engineering changes.
- Ensure quality management system requirements and resources are fully integrate and available within all business process.
- Interface with engineering and operations to ensure manufacturing process compliance to quality system and an effective and efficient process performance (safety, quality, cost and productivity). Actively participate in manufacturing and process improvement teams as the voice of the customer.

**Background & Skills**:

- Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- 3 years of experience in Process Quality and Customer Contact.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Experience in manufacturing processes.
- Experience using proven tools, techniques, and methodologies to inspect products, measure process performance, perform product verification and validation testing
- Knowledgeable on problem solving methodologies and Quality Core Tools
- Knowledge of Statistical Minitab software.ISO 9001 Quality Standards, implemented or audited, participation on process documented
- Thorough knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerance (GD &T) principles
- Possesses Effective Communication Skills
- Drives for Results
- Makes Decisions/Solves Problems
