Job Overview:
**Responsibilities**:
- Develop cost standards for materials and labor
- Analyze actual manufacturing costs and prepare periodic reports comparing standard costs to actual production costs
- Conduct ongoing process constraint analyses
- Review and document inventory and margin analysis
- Assist in month-end closing, prepare journal entries as necessary
- Support the budgeting and forecasting activities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven experience as a Cost Accountant or similar role
- Knowledge of cost management principles
- Proficiency in financial report interpretation
- Familiarity with corporate accounting principles and procedures
- Experience with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Quicken, etc.
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Ability to perform cash flow analysis
- Experience SAP, NetSuite MRP and or ERP
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes
