**You will be responsible for**:

- Helps establish metrics and implement programs to accelerate Data Governance practices across business and tech teams, ensuring compliance and privacy regulations.
- Researches critical data quality issues to drive root cause assessment, mitigation planning and execution.
- Owns the development and maintenance of our business glossary, as well as data catalog, data lineage, and related activities.
- Be a member of our agile squad, participating of initiatives that will accelerate the organization's data literacy and overall data democratization.
- Collaborates with multiple data domains. Support data stewards and data owners in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Data Science, Engineering or a related technical field.

**Experience and Skills**:
**Required**:

- A minimum of 3 years with relevant data and analytics experience.
- Solid grasp of data analysis, data modeling, visualization, and business intelligence tools. Including ETL and Data Ecosystem (e.g. AWS, Azure, SQL, Python, Power BI, Tableau, Excel).
- Solid grasp of data governance tools (e.g. Atlan, Alation, Purview, Unity Catalog).
- Practical experience in data governance methodologies (e.g. DMBOK, CMMI DMM). Certifications in this area is a plus.
- Ability to conduct data exploration and manipulation to support business analysis and problem solving.
- Practical experience in agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Design thinking) and frameworks (SAFe).
- Strong interpersonal & communication skills (oral and written), including the ability to explain data concepts and technologies to business leaders, as well as business concepts to technologists.
- Passion for learning, sharing and implementing new ideas in a fast-paced environment.

**Other**:

- Advanced Business English oral and written skills.
- Intermediate Portuguese is a plus.
- Previous experience with Data Governance initiatives is a plus.
- Previous experience with Data Literacy is a plus.
- Previous experience with UX/UI/Design is a plus.
