**WHAT TO EXPECT**

Work very closely with the Senior Manager of Category Management and the Senior Category Management Analyst. Contribute to the growth of Gates and its customers by increasing the volume of products sold, improving inventory accuracy, and increasing speed of inventory turnover. Identify growth opportunities through optimized inventory assortments.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Make effective strategies as a part of the information analysis.
- Understand the commercial and market necessities to prepare and present the information.
- Understand the most important commercial and operating process to identify opportunity areas and give some ideas to be more effective.
- Visit Gates clients and auto part´s shops to understand and know the necessities of our different type of customers.
- Create the process for the different requirements that the position requires.
- Impulse through the analysis information the use and confidence of the information with all the users.
- Work with the customer and Gates sales associates to collect data, prepare analysis, and present recommendation for all Gates product categories.
- Run analytical tools and procedures to create valid recommendations for customers that increase sales and improve inventory quality.
- Assist in running internal and external reporting as it relates to the Category Management Initiative.
- Present analysis findings and results to customer stakeholders and Gates Sales team.
- Assist Gates Sales team in presenting the benefits of the Category Management program to 'win customers over' to participate in the analytical process.
- Assist, when required, in data uploads to internal Gates Sales support tool.
- Meet overall sales targets for the Category Management Initiative.
- Continue market research and 3rd party data source research to grow the Category Management initiative logic.
- Support Sales team and leadership team with ad hoc reporting when requested.

**ABOUT YOU**
- 5 - 7 of years of progressive experience
- BA/BS in business or equivalent work experience (with at least progressively responsible positions demonstrating ability to handle the assignment).
- Familiarity with analytical systems Alteryx, Power BI, or Tableau
- Excel, Power Point
- Basic programming skills desirable
- Data base management
- Teamwork
- English and Spanish communication (writing, speaking)
- Tenacity
- Focus on results.
