**About Convatec**
Oversees and organizes all operation activities during normal production for responsible area. Leads all team members to implement production safely, efficiently, and accurately based on safety regulations, standard operating procedures, checklists, quality standards, production plans, etc. Assists with implementation of lean methodology and/or health, safety & environment practices. Coordinates maintenance issues with the maintenance department and oversees safety during maintenance if necessary. Works with other personnel to complete equipment isolation, flushing, replacement, inspection, commissioning, etc. Communicates with team members on all issues. Provides performance evaluation input to supervisor. May work as a backup to positions in a shift group.
Requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education. Responsibilities may include: - Working under limited supervision for non-routine situations and may be responsible for leading daily operations. - Training, delegating and reviewing the work of lower level employees. - Problems are typically difficult and non-routine but not complex.
