ISP English Teacher Key Responsibilities
- Carry out the academic program of Writing and Speech
- Plan and prepare classes
- Review, correct, and grade units, notebooks, books, and assignments on a daily basis
- Prepare and administer exams
- Design and organize assemblies
- Record grades
- Formally follow up on student progress
- Provide academic reinforcement to students who require it
- Comply with safeguarding guidelines.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience
- Strong command of French language (grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Classroom management and student engagement strategies.
- Lesson planning, curriculum design, and assessment.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles and needs.
- Patience, creativity, and cultural awareness.
- Proficiency in educational technology and digital learning platforms.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree in French, Education, Linguistics, or related field.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken French.
- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection standards.
- Continuous professional development in teaching methodologies.
Experience
- Prior teaching experience in primary, secondary, or higher education settings.
- Designing and delivering lessons for mixed-ability groups.
- Providing academic reinforcement and individualized support.
- Participation in school activities, assemblies, and extracurricular programs.
- Record-keeping, grading, and student progress reporting.
