**Summary**:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
- **Technical Support**:
- Provide day-to-day advanced technical support to employees for server infrastructure, manufacturing systems, and internal desktop hardware and software.
- Take ownership of and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring mínimal disruption to business operations.
- Maintain a high level of credibility with managers and stakeholders by consistently committing to scheduled response times and following through on resolutions.
- **Systems Administration & Maintenance**:
- Administer, install, configure, and troubleshoot server systems, workstations, and network issues in a heterogeneous environment (Linux/Windows Server).
- Maintain data integrity and file system security, with a strong focus on cybersecurity best practices.
- Conduct preventive maintenance on specialized equipment like laser and thermal printers to ensure optimal functionality.
- **Project Leadership & Management**:
- Participate in the development and execution of information technology and infrastructure projects, often in a leadership capacity.
- Use metrics to track and report on the progress of assigned projects.
- Analyze and recommend hardware and software solutions, including new acquisitions and upgrades, to enhance system performance and efficiency.
- **User Engagement & Training**:
- Provide proactive support to users by scheduling meetings to understand their needs and plan the execution of necessary activities.
- Communicate highly technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical personnel.
- **Documentation & Continuous Improvement**:
- Maintain accurate documentation of all systems, configurations, and support processes.
- Contribute to the development of new procedures and standards to improve the efficiency and reliability of the IT environment.
- Recommend solutions for new acquisitions and upgrades.
**Requirements**:
- **Education**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a support role with direct experience supporting users, printers, and servers.
- **Technical Knowledge & Skills**:
- **English Proficiency**: Intermediate (B1).
- **Server Administration**: Strong knowledge and practical experience in Linux/Windows Server administration.
- **Help Desk**: Proven experience in end-user support and troubleshooting.
- **Cybersecurity**: Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and security best practices for servers and network infrastructure.
- **Printers**: Expertise in the maintenance and troubleshooting of laser and thermal printers.
- **Systems**: Familiarity with the installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of desktop systems, workstations, and network issues.
- **Communication**: Excellent communication skills to explain highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel.
