**DB Cloud Test Developer**

We are looking for a seasoned software developer to join our efforts in enhancing the testing landscape in Oracle JAVAVM, XDK and MLE testing team. The JAVAVM, XDK and MLE testing team is responsible for quality assurance of JAVAVM embedded into Oracle Database, XML Development Kit, JSON/SODA cloud and Multilingual Engine support.

This position requires strong software engineering experience, deep technical knowledge in database and/or security, quick adapting to new technologies and hands on strategic leadership in building a successful testing team.

**Key Responsibilities**
- The new hire will be a key member of the team in designing, annotating and developing tactics to test Oracle software.
- The new hire will be actively participating in new feature functionality review.
- The new hire will be working closely with the development team, to share information, advance the team skills, experiences and capabilities.
- The new hire will design the test specifications for the project you are assigned to, design, develop and automate the corresponding tests

**Ideal Experience**
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
- Solid fundamentals in computer science and software engineering
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Familiar with Oracle Database, SQL, PLSQL
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and distributed systems fundamentals.
- Strong knowledge of C/C++ or Java, XML, JavaScript, and experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, etc.
