Senior SAP Basis Consultant

Requisition ID: 40958- Job Location(s): Apodaca, MXWe are seeking a highly experienced **Senior SAP Basis Consultant** with over 6 years of professional experience.

**Key Qualifications**:

- Extensive hands-on experience with the operations of ABAP and Java systems.
- Initial experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
- Expertise in security topics, including evaluating and implementing security notes and maintaining access control lists.
- Experience managing minor projects within team settings or independently on projects spanning multiple systems.

**Team and Environment**: You will join a global team of 12 SAP Basis colleagues located in China, India, Denmark, Brazil, and the US. Together, the team is responsible for the operations and maintenance of a vast SAP landscape comprising over 45 environments. These landscapes are hosted both on-premise and in public and private clouds. The system landscape primarily includes systems running on Linux SLES with SAP ASE or HANA, as well as some systems on Windows and MSSQL. Experience working in similar environments is highly desirable.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Experience with Linux SLES
- Proficiency in ASE and MSSQL
- Knowledge of Windows Clustering
- Familiarity with Heterogeneous System Copies

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct daily operations and quality testing.
- Perform performance tuning.
- Handle SAP security tasks, including SSO and other security-related activities, ensuring compliance with internal and external audits.
- Build and implement Proof of Concept (PoC) for new products or add-ons.
- Coordinate with multiple vendors, including SAP Rise.

**Additional Information**:

- This role includes participation in an on-call duty rotation, approximately 4-5 weeks per year.
