At Naya Homes, we're building a vacation rental management and hospitality company that empowers homeowners to increase their financial returns while removing their operating burden. As we scale, we will be uniquely positioned to leverage our data to unlock a new asset class in Latam.

**Role overview**

As our Reservations Agent, and one of our first hires, you'll have a unique opportunity to shape the company's Reservation & Booking team, its culture, and our work towards professionalizing the short term rental management industry. You will be responsible for managing and coordinating guest & owner bookings, providing great guest booking experiences and advice during their holiday planning, problem solving during our booking management process, and maximizing owner income through excellence in our reservations department.

Ultimately, you will help create a new asset class in Latam by building a world-class international brand that provides best-in-market asset performance for our homeowners and amazing hospitality experiences for our guests.

Revenue management and reservations is the heart and soul of what we do, providing a tech enabled yet human connection with our home owners and guests. Through Reservations we will empower our owners by supporting the rental of their properties, while ensuring that our guests have an incredible experience from the instance they attempt to book one of our units.

**Responsibilities will certainly evolve, but early work can look like**:

- Managing written and phone booking inquiries in English and Spanish
- Educating and selling to uncertain guests during booking process
- Negotiating rates for potential bookings and problem solving payment concerns
- Optimizing Nayas occupancy by creatively allocating guests and coordinating with Operations to assist a potential guest

**Why you might not be excited about us**
- We're small and we're building from the ground up, so if you like more established companies, it's not (yet) the right time. Here you'll help us define and build our company's culture and infrastructure
- Since we're an early stage startup, projects and priorities may shift and we will need to move fast
- Since you'll have a lot of responsibility and creativity over projects, they may not be defined perfectly initially. You'll be expected to bring your own experience and perspective to help us do the right things, and raise flags if you think we should do things differently.

**About you**
- 1-2 years in Reservations at Hotel, Travel Agency, etc.
- Fluent English and Spanish with great written and verbal communication
- Quick typing skills
- Passion for hospitality, interested in matching guests with properties and personality to sell people on the OTAs
- Quick learner
- OTA experience preferred but not required
