We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as a DBA Administrator

What you’ll do:

- Task, Consultation, Supervision of the virtual warehouse
- Working on critical incidents, service requests, and bug fixes
- Performing tests for compatibility changes due to platform/patch updates
- Resizing the virtual warehouse / Purging and archiving data
- Monitoring materialized views
- Data cleansing
- Creating SOPs, an Operations Manual, and updates to the Operations Manual
- Keeping a record of events and changes in the environment
- Providing operational support to migration teams
- Working with the Snowflake provider - Creating incidents with Snowflake support
- SLA compliance, SOX compliance
- Communicating Snowflake updates, conducting impact assessments, and preparing mitigation plans if needed
- Quick communication of service disruptions
- Maintenance activities (cleaning up inactive users, purging data from intermediate tables)
- Coordination with development teams and other dependent teams
- Creating status reports (weekly, monthly)
- Automation and continuous improvement of services

**Qualifications**
- Must have 7 to 10 years of experience in infrastructure technology
- Required expertise in Azure Pipelines Azure Repos Azure App Service Azure AKS Azure Key Vault and Azure Resource Manager
- Nice to have experience with other cloud platforms and services
- Must possess strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Required excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Nice to have certifications in Azure technologies
