- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Data collection, data mining, analysis and reconciliation
- Data scrubbing, normalization, and preparation for mass database loads
- Data entry
- Execution of ALM processes
- Maintenance contract data reviews and support for renewals
- Overall asset data quality auditing
- Service ticket processing across multiple tools
- Provide support for multiple phases of asset life cycle processing from asset purchase through disposal
- Backup support for other team members
- Maintaining of work level instructions as changes are identified REQUIREMENT (Experience, Qualification, Knowledge & Skills)
- Advanced level MS Excel skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills (English)
- High attention to detail
- Ability to work with data in many formats to analyze, combine, scrub and normalize
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple assigments
- Prior Asset Life Cycle Management experience a plus
- Knowledge of IT Asset Hardware Models / Part #'s a plus
- Knowledge or experience Service Ticketing systems a plus (ServiceNow, SDM12, Service Center, Amp Remedy, USD6)
- Software Asset Management Analyst
- Duties will include managing the end-to-end lifecycle of software assets for our desktop enduser computing and mid-range and mainframe environments.
- Collect information for budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contract summaries, and cost comparisons.
- Enter and maintain information in a database format to address budgeting, software compliance & inventory, contracts, and cost. Assist in the development of reporting to address management requirements to obtain information.
- Maintain the Configuration Management Database as it relates to software assets, licenses and support agreements.
- Communicate with end users, management, developers and vendors and respond to specific requests for Software Asset Management information
- Implement and maintain Software Asset Management policies and procedures
- Prepare configuration and asset data management documentation based on program requirements. In addition, this position will focus on leading efforts to ensure software compliance, managing vendor initiated software audits and driving internal software audits.
