**This position reports to**:
Production Engineering Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to optimize the Production organization’s assembly methods, processes, and equipment to minimize labor hours in accordance with business strategies related to quality, efficiency, costs, and safety. Each day, you will ensure appropriate production methods, cycle time, equipment performance, and materials/components in support of production targets. You will also showcase your expertise by defining the working phase sequence of a new production process to achieve the targeted product cost and equipment investment budget. The work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite This role is contributing to the Electrication Area in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon. You will be mainly accountable for: - Identifying and recommending improvement opportunities and implements improvement projects, ensuring adherence to timeframe, quality, and cost requirements. - Approving the design for processes developed internally or externally and performing final tests with respect to the project. - Providing support to Production during the internal/external process/equipment start-up, defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources. - Evaluating new process technologies to improve productivity, quality, and cost reduction, defining and leading testing activities, approval criteria, and external provider choices.

**Qualifications for the role**:

- Bachelors Degree in electrical, mechanical, mechatronic or similar engineering.
- 8+ years of experience in similar positions.
- Implementation of Capex / Opex projects.
- Experience in WCM Roadmap.
- Experience and knowledge in MES.
- Managing the Capacity Model (Controlling the number of people required for the line).
- Use of Lean Six Sigma tools and methodologies.
- Experience performing Root Cause Analysis.
- Experience leading work teams.
- Experience in TOT / NPI.
- Experience working in metal / mechanical companies.
- Experience using SAP.
- Advanced English.
