- **This position could be in Queretaro or Saltillo.**:
- English conversational proficient
- Bachelor Degree on Mechanical, Industrial Design, Industrial Engineer or Mechatronic Engineer.
- Experience on engineering and CAD areas, using CATIA and/or NX.
- Effective written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
- Knowledge of any Data Management Systems (Teamcenter PLM), PRISMA, ENOVIA, KVS, etc.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (ASME Y14.5M, or applicable) relative to the function.
- Strong knowledge of plastic components, and plastic injection molding
- Understanding of automotive interiors parts is a plus.
Experience in Create CAD models and Drawings using company sponsored CAD systems.
- Work within the guidelines of applicable YFAI Policies & Procedures, Engineering Standards, Design Customer Operating Procedures, Specifications, Government and Commercial Standards, and special security requirements.
- Understand Design Change documentation and requirements and execute changes.
- Define dimensional constraints and geometric tolerances required for proper clearances and fits while maximizing manufacturing capabilities.
- Learn to perform basic stack ups.
- Understanding input from the various engineering disciplines.
- Concurrently work on multiple projects, monitoring progress and quality and ensuring schedule requirements are met.
- Identify process and product improvements.
- Self-check of work.
- Ensure that Interface characteristics between components are established and agreed upon
