Important aviation group specialized in MRO services is looking for an **"Senior Aircraft Engineering Technician"**. They offer an incredible job opportunity to gain experience working in **Puerto Rico **(The company will help you with the relocation process) You will be responsible of performs and certifies the inspections, repairs and testing of aircraft interior equipment to ensure the aircrafts are in a safe operating condition. **Essential Responsibilities** - Perform aircraft maintenance tasks including all required adjustments, inspections, repairs, and functional tests. All tasks shall be done independently and autonomously - Responsible to determine whether supervision or inspection is necessary for mechanics. (excluding RII Inspections defined by customer) - Perform, inspection and sign off all tasks on all types relevant in their facility (type group) in “Insp/Attest by” column inside their area of authorization - Deputize as a Team Leader if required or on request - Carry out work in accordance with the applicable OEM Manuals, practices, approved procedures, documents and FAA regulations and requirements and RSQCM manual - Troubleshooting and evaluation of systems on the aircraft when designate - Takeover of additional tasks when is required **Requirements**: - Airframe and Power plant degree or a related degree from an FAA-approved school - Minimum of three (3) or more years of applicable aircraft maintenance experience is required - Experience in Airbus or Boeing aircrafts desirable. - Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and spoken) - Excellent communication skills - Capacity for intercultural competence; capacity for teamwork, capacity to work under pressure - Weekend and extended hours availability - CV/Resume in engllish and spanish is required **Benefits** - Salary range: $60K -$70K per year (US dollars) - Monday to Friday (40 hrs per week) - Life insurance - Health Insurance (Dental, vision, etc.) - Employee assistance program - Employee discount - Paid time off Professional development assistance A follow up call will be made Tipo de puesto: Tiempo completo Horario: - Lunes a viernes - Rotativo - Turno de 8 horas Prestaciones: - Programa de referidos - Seguro de gastos médicos - Seguro de la vista - Seguro dental - Seguro de vida - Vacaciones adicionales o permisos con goce de sueldo Lugar de trabajo: Empleo presencial
