**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive data and analytics strategy aligned with the organization's business goals.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to ensure that data initiatives support and enhance overall organizational strategy.
- Mindset of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning both within and outside of the data team.
- Cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executives, business units, and external partners.
- Collaborate with other department heads to understand their data needs and align data initiatives with business objectives.
- Establish and enforce robust data governance policies to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
- Stay current with data protection regulations and ensure the organization's data practices adhere to legal requirements.
- Oversee the selection and implementation of technologies and tools to enhance data management and analytics capabilities.
- Define and implement a scalable and agile data architecture that supports current and future business needs.
- Drive the development of advanced analytics models and reporting mechanisms to derive actionable insights.
- Collaborate with business units to identify and prioritize key performance indicators (KPIs) for strategic decision-making.
- Ensure seamless data integration from various sources to create a unified and comprehensive data ecosystem.
- Facilitate interoperability between different systems to enable efficient data flow across the organization.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data and analytics.
- Share thought leadership within the organization and contribute to industry forums and conferences, as necessary.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
**- Fluent in English and Spanish.**
- Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems).
- Proven experience (5+ Years) in a senior leadership role in data and analytics.
- Demonstrated success in developing and implementing strategic data initiatives that drive business outcomes.
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and security best practices.
- Familiarity with relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Proficient in data visualization tools and analytics technologies.
- This role will be essential in helping our organization start to become more data-oriented. Currently very little infrastructure exists and data is not a part of people’s daily lives. To be successful in this role, one must be excited to build this function from the ground up and understand the challenges and opportunities of such a task.
