**What is Travelport?**

Travelport is the brains behind lots of your travel bookings. Plane, car or hotel. You name it, we do it. Our technology is used to book that magical family holiday, infamous bachelorette party or long overdue school reunion. While we can't solve mosquito bites or lost luggage, we can simplify a lot of the technical parts of travel, and we're looking for the best thinkers to help us do it.

**The Software Engineering Internship**:
**_6-months’, 40 hours per week 9-5pm Monday-Friday, fixed-term contract starting July 2025. Hybrid (minimum 2 days per week in office). _**

**Responsibilities include**:

- Working closely with mid and senior developers to fix bugs, build new features, and improve system performance.
- Write and execute SQL queries to manage and validate data.
- Participating in team meetings, code reviews, and technical discussions.Documenting your work clearly and following best practices for version control (Git) and collaboration tools (such as Jira or Confluence).

**Who we are looking for in this role**:

- You are enrolled in the final year (expected to graduate by summer 2025) of a relevant degree program, such as Computer Science, Information Technology or Software Engineering OR you graduated no earlier than 2024.
- You are familiar with Java (version 8 or higher).
- Familiarity with Spring; experience with Spring Boot is a plus.
- Basic understanding of REST APIs
- Understanding of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience using Postman or similar tools.
- Basic knowledge of Git.
- You have a strong understanding of software development concepts, algorithms, and data structures.
- Understanding what unit tests are and writing simple test cases.
- You have strong communication skills, in Spanish and English; you’re able to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.You are based in Guadalajara and available to come to the office 3 days per week.

$11,000 MX monthly for 40 hours per week
