As a Production Engineering Specialist, you will drive improvements in production in the Electrification Business in Mexico. In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

**This position reports to**:
Production Development Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.
- Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.
- Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.
- Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.
- Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial, Administrator, Mechanical or Electric Mechanic Engineering.
- 3 years of experience working with electrical products.
- Demonstrated experience working on a production line. (Supervisory experience is an advantage.).
- Machine process experience.
- Knowledge of 5s - Lean and SMEDA.
- Strong focus on safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- A collaborative, solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills.
- Advanced English.
