Responsible for repairing, preserving, and maintaining institutional spaces to ensure continued safety, functionality, and efficiency.

The Maintenance Technician will perform repairs and upkeep of the facility’s infrastructure. Responsibilities include general maintenance tasks as well as specialized work such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other technical activities.

While performing the duties of this role, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, stoop, reach with hands and arms, climb ladders, and crawl through low spaces. Tasks may involve lifting and moving furniture, equipment, and other heavy items.

**Responsibilities and Functions**
- Regular Inspections: Conduct periodic assessments of the building’s mechanical systems, including sewage, HVAC, and electrical systems, to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
- Repairs: Respond to service requests and perform repairs, including fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic problems on facility and production equipment.
- Preventive Maintenance: Establish and follow regular schedules for all critical equipment and systems to reduce the likelihood of unexpected failures.
- Support Duties: Assist senior technicians and the coordinator with building supply tasks, including water and coffee distribution, site walkthroughs for water needs, and photo reports for maintenance updates.
- Inventory & Work Orders: Help manage maintenance work orders and maintain inventories of coffee and water supplies.

**Requirements**:

- Education: High School diploma or Technical School
- Basic to Intermediate English preferred
- 3 years of maintenance experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of general maintenance procedures
- Attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Familiarity with safety procedures and regulations
- Ability to organize tasks, manage time, and prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to support technically complex projects
