**Job Description**:
PUBLICITY AND EDITORIAL MANAGER
**Role**:
Develop key press and communication strategies to obtain the wider media coverage and higher media value (free press) for every film of the slate, working closely with the PR local agency. Explore, define and exploit all publicity angles to maximize the reach.
**Responsibilities**:
- Management and negotiation of media coverage with media outlets and influencers for nominations to local and international junkets, set visits, content days, phoners, influencer stunts and other special publicity activities.
- Drafting and distribution of press releases and trailer/poster online breaks, and other news releases.
- Close supervision and communication with the local PR agency (a team of 4 people) to encourage them to give the extra mile in their proposals. Supervision of the WB representatives in the top 2 & 3 markets to implement the publicity strategy at a local level. Keep tracking of the performance of the media monitoring agency.
- Development and maintenance of the press, critics, and influencers database. Administration of the Warner Bros. Discovery platform.
- Analysis of the media evolution and trends, with a specialization in influencers, creating, planning and executing original and very efficient activities with them to generate amplification.
- Planning and call for regular and special press/critics/influencers screenings. Development and implementation of new and unique screening experiences with special activities for blockbusters to maximize the coverage.
- Preparation and submission to HO of reports - screening reactions, reviews, nominations, media value analysis, among others.
- Responsible for the organization and full coordination of talent tours in Mexico. Support, planning and supervision in regional and international junkets and talent tours.
- Coordinate and execute cross-divisional initiatives with other WBD business units such as HBOMax and TV Networks.
- Together with other areas and the agencies, generate cross content strategies to optimize the offline & online media efforts.
