_**AMT is Hiring: Field Service Engineer**_

The associate will work with ours Senior Field Service associates while learning the items listed in Essential Functions below. The associate will install and repair machines and accessories at customer sites. Provide technical information on operation or repair of machines and accessories.

**Requirements:Education**
- Engineer degree - Mechanical, mechatronic, industrial.
- 2-year technical training or associate degree in electronics, mechanical or machine tool assembly.

**Qualifications**
- Good interpersonal and oral and written communications skills
- Excellent mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitude.
- Read/understand engineering drawings.
- Ability to work on own or in group while completing necessary tasks.
- Capability to learn quickly and independently.
- Ability to problem solve & research technical manuals and websites.
- English language level B1 or higher / 70 TOEFL
- Willingness to travel constantly
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Operate, maintenance and installation of CNC machines (lathe, machining center)
- G-code programming
- CAM software

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Essential duties include, but not limited to the following:

- Proactively attains a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.
- Takes initiative to learn all aspects of machine installation and repair.
- Installs machines and accessories at customer sites. Installation includes all necessary assembly, leveling, aligning, adjusting, calibrating, and wiring of machines and accessories.
- Help to diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical and software problems on machines and accessories.
- Test operation of machines and accessories after completing installation or repair
- Learn new machines features and accessories as they become available.
- Complete reports documenting, hours, installation, assessment of reported problem, repairs completed, parts installed.
- Maintain a professional approach in both appearance and customer and peer interaction.
- Travel is required, some assignments will require overnight or multiple night stay.
- Eventually provide support at events such as exhibitions, open days, technology day
- Generate administrative reports, such as expense reports, utilization reports according to the needs and policies of Mazak México
