Collections Specialist

As a **Collections and Bookkeeping Specialist**, you will execute the collection process and implement actions and controls to ensure productivity, quality, and the fulfillment of financial obligations, all while maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.

**Some of your responsibilities are but are not limited to**:

- Enter all uncollected items into the tracking system.
- Contact relevant parties via phone calls, being persistent in calling and contacting debtors.
- Monitor and act on collections.
- Inform debtors of their payment status and timeline for repayment.
- Research companies and corporate entities to follow up on payments.
- Address questions regarding each collection case.
- Secure payment, monitor, and resolve financial discrepancies.
- Update and review all collections and keep records up to date.
- Process Requested Refunds.
- Organizes work in a structured and well-planned manner.

**Minimum requirements**:

- **Studies**: High School Degree is **required**. Having studies in International Business, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or any related field is a plus.
- **Experience**:1+ year working in invoicing, preparing reports, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, bookkeeping, and collections.
- **Technical skills**:Microsoft Office Products (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Excel); working knowledge of databases, or financial software is a plus. Finance and business knowledge preferred.
- **Language**: Advanced English skills. B2+ or higher is required.

**Perks**:

- **Schedule**: Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (CST, CDMX Time Zone).
- **Contract**:Indefinite term contract + Benefits.
- **Location**: Only for Mexico. Desirable in Mexico City.
- **Salary**:18,000MXN to 26,000MXN depending on experience.
