**Minimum qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
- 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.

- Experience contributing across domains as a versatile generalist.
- Experience in creating developer frameworks and comfortable collaborating with multiple teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in both client-side and server-side development.

As a Software Engineer, you will enable our first-party flagship app developers to build captivating experiences while sharing code across Android, iOS, Web, and emerging surfaces. You will enhance developer productivity by minimizing duplicated code, ensuring consistency across platforms, and accelerating time to market through a multiplatform framework that utilizes native User Interface (UI) toolkits. You will also support partners across Google including YouTube, Search, Maps, and Workspace.

**Responsibilities**:

- Deliver tasks towards a larger goal with mínimal assistance from more senior team members.
- Plan and execute prioritized project work in a self-directed fashion.
- Identify technical problems with the requirements, and fix them, helping the team to course correct when necessary.
- Communicate effectively and align work within affected teams and with cross-functional partners.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, encouraging knowledge sharing and innovation.
