Aws Solutions Architect

**Job Purpose**:
The AWS Solutions Architect will be primarily responsible for working as an innovator and thought leader in the AWS infrastructure, build and delivery space. They will work with teams including Release Management, Operations, Production Engineering, Test and Development to ensure end-to-end solutions are designed, implement to simplify, and to make sure the build and delivery mechanisms are reliable, transparent, scalable, and transportable.

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, Design, and Implement build and deployment delivery mechanisms, leveraging innovative Cloud solutions and automation (35%)
- Provide mentoring to technical personnel and management including those at C- level on the industry-best practices, discuss, persuade and agree on the most innovative approaches applicable in customer landscape (15%)
- Architect and lead the automation of tasks associated with end-to-end deployment delivery (5%)
- Manage challenges pertaining to the build and deployment for our customers, seeking to improve, resolve, and streamline tools and processes to meet delivery challenges (10%)
- Mentor team members supporting the organization by educating and providing technical decisions on Cloud solutions with AWS (5%)
- Reach visibility and gratitude for yourself and your project team by demonstrating thought leadership by, presentation excellence and negotiation skills (10%)
- Develop and maintain documentation and diagrams outlining automated solutions and environmental architecture (20%)

**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:

- 8 to 10 Years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree with Computer Information Systems Field of Study preferred.
- Technical with 8+ Years IT experience field of study required.
- Other Education / Certifications: 7+ years' hands-on architecture with broad COTS package integration experience.
- Proficient in service oriented architecture (SOA), messaging, object-oriented programming concepts, multi-tiered distributed component-based technology, legacy infrastructure and Cloud platforms and technologies, and enterprise service bus.
- Strong facilitation/negotiation skills.
- Ability to interface with and influence people at multiple levels within the organization.
- Ability to translate technical ideas/designs to business language.
- Thorough understanding of and experience with the Agile methodology
- Has built good relationships with stakeholders and teams.
- Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and coordination skills.
- Excellent leadership skills.
- Team player. Proven ability to work effectively within a large organization that operates using a matrix organization.
- Ability to communicate trade-offs and transactional states with technical and business teams.
- Ability to make architecture changes in a dynamic agile environment.
- Knowledge of AWS and Kubernetes technologies
