**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
**Position Summary**:
Position is key support function to coordinate and represent Acuna as the interface/Project coordinator regarding new processes, process changes, and local Bendix initiatives. Project management professional responsible for leading and implementing assigned projects in a matrix organization.

**Essential Functions**:
Project Manages Acuna portion if external initiative for Mexico (new lines, upgrades, new processes, etc.)

Project Manages Internal Initiatives.

Facilitates team assigned to project

Performs required Analysis and makes recommendation

Sets target dates (start and finish), breaks roadblocks, maintains, and tracks progress

Coordinates selection of team with area Manager

Contacts and works with outside participants relative to Acuna requirements

Reports to Leadership regarding progress and roadblocks

Facilitates introduction for new technologies (Additive Manufacturing, IOT, ESD Control, etc.)

Support PSA activities and procedures with team members.

Performs all those activities that by the nature of the position are required.

**Management & Supervisory Responsibilities**:
Position reports to Central Manager for WPO/EE. May report to plant engineering manager.

MEDP’s, Temporal Engineers, co-op’s may report to the projects lead.

**Knowledge**:
Controls and Manufacturing Engineering knowledge

Lean

Project & Time Management

**Experience**:
3-5 years working in the engineering and maintenance field.

Relevant Project management or project coordination experience.

Relevant Supervision experience and hands-on problem solving.
Relevant exposure to adoption of new technologies.

**Skills**:
Priorities, identifying risks and opportunities, managing resources, milestones, and costs in a

**matrix/cross-functional organization. Must have**:
Strong organizational, interpersonal and written communication skills
Ability to multi-task in a high-paced environment
Ability to influence peers and lead cross-functional teams
Self-starter, self-learner; possessing high degree of self-motivation and bias for action
Hands on individual able to flow from admin to hands on activities.

**Education/Certifications**:
BS Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics preferred.
