We’re looking for a talented Corporate Counsel to support our Amazon’s rapidly growing Mexico Operations business. In this role, you will be the legal partner to our senior business clients providing product counseling, regulatory analysis, and transactional drafting and negotiation as we innovate and build on behalf of customers.

Key job responsibilities

A day in the life
- Drive strategy for regulatory compliance across our operations and logistics businesses.
- Develop strategies for handling legal issues in creative, business-centric ways.
- Build processes that address risk and provide us with the flexibility and freedom to move quickly.
- Think Big and look around corners to spot issues and identify developments of relevance for the Amazon business.
- Develop mechanisms for training, compliance, and cross functional coordination across our operations and logistics teams.
- Proactively identify opportunities to engage with external stakeholders, earning trust and building relationships.
- A mix of corporate law firm and in-house or regulatory experience is a plus
- Ability to demonstrate sound judgment even in ambiguous situations
- Ability to work independently while being able to contribute successfully to cross-functional teams
- Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects at once, follow through, and meet deadlines
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong analytical and computer skills
