Project Finance Controller

As a Project Finance Controller, you will manage a significant plant project, ensuring accurate reporting. You will communicate progress and main financial insights to global and local leadership, and report directly to the FP&A Director. **Key Responsibilities** - Lead the Fixed Assets Financial Reporting Process for a 3 Year Resins Plant Project (>140MM USD Investment) ensuring accurate reporting on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis to global and local leadership. - Ensure information driving main deliverables through executive presentations. - Alert leadership teams when course correction, optimizations or accelerated spending is needed. - Be the finance focal point for Resins Plan Project, collaborating with multiple partners (Manufacturing, Logistic, Procurement, Legal, Finance, GBS and Functional Areas). - Ensure correct calculation for fixed assets depreciation forecast and support Supply Chain Analysis. - Collaborate with our Accounting, Operations, Business and Functions to ensure items are routed to the correct team - Prepare relevant journals in SAP (fixed assets, leasing, restructuring, rent) and own relevant BS accounts reconciliations. - Control owner for internal controls, which includes performing risk assessments, operating controls, testing controls and maintaining up-to-date project process documentation. - Support audit requests (External for Group and Statutory reporting, and internal corporate audit) - Guarantee financial analysis rely on high quality data for accurate predictability and broad understanding of spending dynamics (Accounting, Seasonal, Spending classification, reserves processes). **Qualifications**- 6 or more years of experience in Multinational & Manufacturing Companies in Accounting, Controllership and Reporting Process. - Bachelor’s Degree. Professional Accounting Qualification is desirable- Advanced English skills. - Expert on reporting big picture and relevant details. - Agile working with spreadsheets organizing extended amounts of data into executive summaries - Knowledge of Oracle/HFM and US GAAP. This position is based in Mexico City, visiting Plant and Warehouse Project in Tepexpan twice in a month (at least).
