Operations Finance Analyst

**WHAT TO EXPECT**

Located in our Santa Fe office, you will have the responsibility for assisting in reporting and analyzing consolidated results for Gates Corporation reporting to VP - Operational Finance.
**Key responsibilities**:

- Collaborate with Operations Finance counterparts to create comparison analysis as demanded
- Track and trend KPIs for Operations Finance team.
- Support strategic projects for Operations Finance - ensure that savings are correctly stated and that we realize committed savings.
- Introduce consistency of reporting and manage the financial bridge and variance explanation process for Operations Related GL Accounts
- Fixed Asset review
- E&O Analysis and actions
- Inventory Aging analysis
- Assist in Global Policies verification and corrections
- All other Ops Finance duties assigned

**ABOUT YOU**
- 5 - 7 years of progressive experience
- Strong accounting knowledge with experience in all areas of general accounting
- Strong knowledge in Std Cost determination
- Fluent English Language
- Teamwork and good communication
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good computer skills with the ability to adapt and learn new technologies quickly
- Strong team player: proactively able to support other team members as needed and share knowledge to allow cross training of all key functions; builds collaborative relationships.
- Prior experience with ERP systems
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex data
