The Software Developer is responsible for the development and maintenance of current test stations, new test stations and supporting software programs to improve throughput and efficiency at test and refurbishment centers supporting Netgear operations globally.

Core Responsibilities
- Develop and deploy test suites to support RMA testing at test and refurbishment centers.
- Develop new features and programs for new and existing test stations, supporting software program in collaboration with Test Engineering.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to client's suite of test system software operations.
- Provide consultancy services on client's suite of test systems.
- Provide documentation, software release notes, and manuals as instructed.
- Work with 3rd party developers and Test Engineers to improve test methods, test program and reduce test time to improve the test coverage, capacity, and quality.
- Provide remote and (if necessary) on-site support to test and refurbishment centers.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 3-5 years of experience developing programs in Python and working with SQL databases.
- Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating system
- Familiarity with Angular JS is a plus.
- Has a basic understanding of networking from Layer 1 to 3 in the OSI model.
- Be able to travel both domestically and internationally.
- Proficient in English, both verbal and written.
- Required to work on-site.
