BookingPal a travel technology company based in Irvine Californa is looking for an accountant to join our team in Tijuana, MX. Duties include general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable functions. This position reports directly to the director of finance and will assist in key activities such as month-end close, account reconciliations, operating reviews, and audits. This position requires a high level of confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to documented accounting policies and procedures.

**Responsibilities & Duties**:

- Invoice processing
- research and entry
- Communication with internal and external customers
- Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Resolve invoice discrepancies
- Prepare daily receivable deposits
- Assists collections to verify the status of delinquent accounts
- Follow up on clients on Account Receivable balances
- Provide support to other groups in accounting as needed

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business administration.
- At least 3 years of related experience is required

**Skills Required**:

- Experience with Quickbooks
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
- Understanding of and the ability to adhere to generally accepted accounting principles.
- Ability to work under limited supervision and is able to problem solve
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel
- Have analytical abilities, team working capabilities, and be results-oriented

Pay: $26,000.00 - $30,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Tijuana, B.C.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounts Payable and Receivable: 2 years (required)

**Language**:

- Fluent English (required)
