As a Production Engineering Specialist, you will drive improvements in production of NEMA Motors in Guadalajara. In this role your focus will be on optimizing the manufacturing process through innovation in a cost-effective way.

**This position reports to**:
Production Manager

**Your responsibilities**:

- Defining the sequence of the production process in line with material and investment budgets.
- Ensuring optimal efficiency in production methods, equipment performance and materials/components.
- Identifying and implementing improvements to the manufacturing process in line with cost, safety and timing requirements.
- Investigating new methods, technologies and changes in equipment and process design to meet specifications.
- Defining action plans and training relevant maintenance and production resources and personnel to ensure smooth implementation of new processes and a skilled, competent team.
- Consulting and working with production operators and supervisors to implement changes on the production line.

**Your background**:

- Bachelor´s Degree in Industrial, Mechanic, Electrical Engineering or related.
- 3+ years of experience working in similar positions.
- Experience in continuous improvement projects.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Ergonomics methodologies.
- Knowledge of MS Office, Visio, PBI systems, DWG or 3D programs.
- A Green belt diploma or certification is a plus.
- Advanced English level.
