**Your new role**
- As Social Media Manager, you will:
- Develop, implement, and manage a strategic social media plan to enhance Novo Nordisk's online presence and brand image.
- Create, curate, and manage engaging content across the most relevant social media platforms for the company, ensuring alignment with corporate messaging and goals.
- Analyze social media metrics and KPIs towards the effectiveness of campaigns and strategies, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including marketing, corporate communications, and external partners to ensure cohesive messaging.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media and digital marketing, utilizing emerging platforms and technologies to drive engagement to incorporate them into our strategy.
- Monitor online conversations about the company, providing timely responses and engaging with audiences to build relationships.
- Prepare regular reports on social media performance and present findings to senior management.
- Expertise in social media agencies management
- Help diagnose our social media needs, co-lead the pitch for our new SoMe agency/influencer agency and guide the team through the selection process
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to integrate social media into overall marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Monitor and report on competitor activity and industry trends
- Help and guide to different stakeholders to develop crisis manuals
- Stakeholder management, build trust and connection with our different brand managers
- Help Cardiometabolic Marketing team become SoMe experts, and integrate this critical element to our annual plan, and always on campaigns
- Challenge our current understanding and execution of the SoMe strategy, help us become the most relevant brand in the industry within SoMe

**Your skills and qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in social media management and digital marketing.
- Experience developing and integrating corporate social media strategies.
- Extensive knowledge and direct experience with digital media platforms (Meta, Google, YouTube, X).
- Experience in consumer goods companies or in a similar role at a large corporation (ideally ex-Googler, ex-Youtuber, ex-Meta).
- Expertise in managing social media agencies and influencer agencies.
- Strong understanding of social media analytics (metrics and KPIs).
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to drive engagement.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to think creatively and strategically to drive engagement and build brand advocacy.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Based in Mexico City.
**Desired Skills**:
- Experience in crisis communication and reputation management/brand protection.
- Project management skills.
- Experience integrating social media into comprehensive marketing campaigns (omnichannel).
