Your New Role**
Your Role Accountabilities
- ** Semantic Model Expertise**: Support the design, development and implementation of centralized semantic models used by BI tools across the company.
- ** Continuous improvement of data Models**: Implementation of best practices, adoption of data governance and identification areas of continuous improvement for current data models.
- ** Communication Skills**: The ability to communicate technical information clearly, both orally and in writing.
- ** Problem Solving and troubleshooting**: Capacity to identify and resolve complex problems on existing systems.
- ** Stakeholder management**: Build long-term, strategic relationships with stakeholders. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to gather feedback and insight on scalability and reusability of semantic models.
- ** Team collaboration**: Partner with data governance, data engineering, and analytics teams to ensure data quality, security, and accessibility within the semantic models.
- **
Self-Improvement**: Stay current with industry trends and emerging BI tools to continuously evolve the semantic strategy in support of business growth and innovation.
Qualifications & Experiences
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, systems engineering, computer science or a related field.
- 3-5 years proven experience in Business Intelligence or Data Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of Power BI (DAX, Power Query and Semantic models). Knowledge of other BI Tools (Tableau, Looker, SAP BO or QlikView) is a plus.
- Strong analytical skills.
