**Data Engineer**
Data Engineer to support & maintain - multiple Pentaho Servers across different business units, Level#1 (follow Run Book and restart the job in case of failure) & Level#2 (troubleshoot based on run book, provide a fix/solution to the failure & escalate to Level#3) support for 100+ jobs. This job requires good SQL skills (little advanced) & Pentaho Data Integration Tool experience.
Qualifications: (must have)
- 3+ years of experience on PostgreSQL Or any relational database - Basic & Advanced SQL’s
- 2+ years of Pentaho Data Integration Tool Or any ETL/ELT tool like Talend, Informatica, DataStage
- 1+ years of experience in Vertica DB Or any columnar Databases.
- Experience working closely with teams outside of IT (ie. Business Intelligence, Finance, Marketing, Sales)
- Strong communication and documentation skill is absolutely required for this role as you will be working directly with both IT and non-technical groups
- Self-motivated, willingness to learn new technologies and business and willing to take initiative beyond basic responsibilities
Desired: (nice to have)
- Experience with the reporting platforms such as Tableau or any Data Visualization Tools
- Experience on GCP/Big Query
- Experience in Apache Airflow or at least in-depth understanding on how Airflow works
