- Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer (Salesforce Manual Testing)
- Overview:
- Insulet is seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer to lead manual testing efforts across our Salesforce, web, and mobile platforms. This role ensures our end-to-end digital solutions meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and performance. You will play a key role in defining QA strategies, executing test plans, and mentoring QA teams, while also collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and third-party vendors.
- Key Responsibilities:- Drive System Integration Testing (SIT) efforts and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure seamless end-to-end validation.- Lead QA efforts across frontend/backend systems, ensuring thorough test coverage and adherence to Agile delivery timelines.- Author and maintain detailed test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts based on business and technical requirements.- Conduct go-live readiness assessments, regression testing, and post-deployment validations.- Identify opportunities to enhance automation coverage and support implementation of automation frameworks.- Track and report quality metrics, defect trends, and test coverage to stakeholders and leadership.- Manage and coordinate testing activities with onshore and offshore QA teams and third-party vendors.- Drive continuous improvement in QA processes, tools, and standards across the organization.
- Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). Preferred-
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, including Classic and Lightning components.- Experience testing across multiple platforms and browsers (iOS, Android, Windows, Chrome, Safari, Edge).- Solid grasp of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum or SAFe environments.- Proficiency in test management tools such as JIRA, Polarion or similar.- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into test cases.
- Preferred Skills and Competencies:
- Working knowledge of AccelQ for test case design, execution, and reporting is a strong plus.- Familiarity with automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Appium, TestNG) and scripting languages (e.g., Java, Python).- Experience in regulated industries such as medical devices or life sciences.- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-project environment with global teams.
- NOTE: This position is eligible for hybrid working arrangements and requires on-site work from an Insulet office at least three (3) days per week. #LI-Hybrid
