**The Role**:
The objective of the Sourcing/Expediting Specialist role is to support the procurement needs of NFE’s FLNG Development Projects and operational assets in Mexico. The role will be responsible for facilitating and analyzing RFx events (Request for Quotation, Request for Proposal, Request for Information), as well as coordinating/managing awarded work to NFE’s recommended supply base. To be effective in this role the Sourcing Specialist must have experience in sourcing through local suppliers in Mexico, be able to provide options for sourcing that best balance costs/needs, and have experience in expediting material from purchase-to-delivery. This role will support both development/operational work for NFE’s Mexico assets and is best fit for individuals seeking to work in a growing environment with fast paced goals and a competitive spirit to ensure business continuity is met.

**What You Will Do**:

- Work with internal business stakeholders supporting their project and operational needs.
- Lead sourcing events, (i.e., RFPs and RFQs) and participate in cross-functional teams to support projects for Development and Operations.
- Implement cost drivers and develop cost models based on price, demand, specifications, and other factors affecting Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Identify optimal supply sources that balance costs, quality, and delivery needs.
- Assist Sourcing Leadership on data gathering for market analysis, category analysis, supplier risk analysis, and supplier business reviews.
- Analyze data to identify trends and prioritize strategic sourcing opportunities.
- Structure data sets to develop KPIs that drive business improvement efforts.
- Develop reports to supplement fact-based negotiations, strategy development, and execution.
- Assist internal stakeholders with analysis, preparation, and execution of sourcing projects.
- Evaluate and manage supply chain risks.
- Work with critical suppliers to ensure business continuity strategies to prevent supply interruptions.
- Assist in the development and implementation of procurement plans, policies, and procedures.
- Facilitate implementation and review of Terms & Conditions of contractual agreements.
- Provide economic analysis to support implementation.

**What You Bring**:

- Fluent in both English and Spanish.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (both English and Spanish desirable), with ability to participate with projects on cross-functional teams in a multicultural organizational setting.
- Effective leadership communication and comfortability in presenting to organizational leaders.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in logistics, supply chain, or a business-related field.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in supply chain logistics, preferably in global organizations.
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to manage priorities.
- Ability to interact effectively at different levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel to Houston, TX when needed.
- Ability to rapidly assimilate information and find/solve problems.
- Experience with conflict resolution and negotiations.
- Experience with expediting materials/services needs for end-to-end implementation.
- Experience managing suppliers in Oil & Gas or other capital-intensive industries.
- Experience with Terms & Conditions of Master Agreements (i.e., MSAs, GPPMAs, etc.)
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaborative problem-solving skills across functional groups.
- Enjoys working and collaborating with team members.
- Advanced Excel level is required.
