Lm400: Accountant

**General job description**:
Under general supervision performs the following activities:

- Ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies, procedures, norms, rules, and practices.
- Ensures proper administration of local statutory reporting, tax accounting requirements, and the filing of tax returns on a timely basis.
- Administers relationships with tax authorities, payroll service bureau, auditors, and other related agencies.
- Ensures that internal control of accounting systems are in place and maintained in order to safeguard the company assets and avoid liabilities.
- Prepares balance sheet account reconciliations of moderate complexity.
- Prepares cash receipts, disbursement journals, and accruals monthly.
- Prepares monthly cash flow forecasts and ensures that sufficient funds are always available to meet the company's liabilities.
- Keeps Manager updated on accounting related activities by submitting required reports and keeping the Manager informed on issues and changes in related laws and regulations.
- Prepares management information systems to aid in the control and development of the operation.
- May be required to perform other duties as assigned

**Minimum Requirements**:
**Minimum Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting.
- Proficiency in English (650 TOEIC points).
- Local professional certification, if required.

**Minimum Experience**:

- Three (3) years accounting experience
- Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles
- Computer literate
- Spreadsheet experience preferred

**Minimum Required Skills**:

- Excellent analytical, mathematical and communications skills (written/oral)
