We are seeking a highly skilled **Data Integration Engineer** to join our dynamic team and drive impactful business intelligence solutions within the Google Cloud Learning organization.
**Responsibilities**
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across the Google Cloud Learning organization to understand their reporting needs and translate them into efficient BI solutions
- Create ETL packages and scripts designed to extract and load data into a data warehouse using Google’s internal workflow engines
- Migrate existing legacy workflows to a modern infrastructure by adhering to updated design standards
- Implement and enforce data security and access policies aligned with organizational standards
- Optimize query performance while managing large datasets in business-critical environments
- Ensure scalability and maintainability of data workflows across diverse infrastructure settings
- Propose long-term strategies to improve data pipeline durability and analysis efficiency
- Troubleshoot data errors and resolve inconsistencies in collaboration with technical and business teams
**Requirements**:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in Data Warehousing, ETL & Reporting
- Extensive background in executing multiple data warehouse projects across a variety of business domains
- Strong SQL (BigQuery) expertise combined with advanced data manipulation capabilities
- Proficiency in data visualization techniques using tools like Google Dashboards (PLX Dashboards), Data Studio, Looker, Tableau or similar technologies
- Familiarity with Google’s internal BI stack, including Dremel/F1, BigQuery, PLX, and Looker
- Showcase of strong problem-solving, project management, and organizational skills
**Nice to have**
- Data Visualization Essentials combined with skillsets in Google Cloud BigQuery and Looker
- Understanding of modern methodologies for improving data visualization impact, scalability, and engagement across platforms
