The Software Quality Manager in Project ensures that the necessary quality objectives for System/SW development are identified and implemented in the project. The SWQMP is an independent and empowered partner for the project for all quality relevant issues. The tasks of the SWQMP are predominantly of preventive nature with a focus on continuous improvement. The SWQMP ensures that the customer quality requirements are incorporated early in the project and assures that appropriate corrective actions are taken in case of deviations.

**Core Responsibilities**:

- Develop, maintain, and implement the SW quality assurance plan.
- Moderation of SW milestone reviews.
- Approve SW deliveries by verifying that the process and quality plan requirements are fulfilled.
- Quality reporting and monitoring of quality metrics and corrective actions.
- Initiate, track and report improvement measures based on findings related to process adherence.
- Support, perform and/or participate in defined process adherence measures (Customer audits / assessments, Internal ASPICE assessment, Process capability checks, Gap-Analysis, FSM audit, IATF 16949 audits,...).
- Support problem solving activities, ensure root cause identification and definition/verification of corrective actions. Ensures lessons learned are identified.
- Representative for all relevant SW Quality topics in front of the customer.

**Required Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or comparable engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience.
- Minimum 3 years of automotive experience.
- Proven experience with direct customer communication.
- Strong communication/presentation skills.
- Knowledge of quality methods and tools (e.g. problem-solving methods, 8d report, FMEA, FTA )
- Knowledge of automotive industry standard practice for software development process.
- Knowledge of industry standards (Automotive SPICE, IATF, CMMI, Agile Development).
- Fluent in English

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- 3 years of experience in Software Development and/or Quality function.
- Master’s Degree in Quality or related engineering discipline.
- Experience working with international teams.
- ASPICE Provisional certification or higher.
