**Quality Assurance Engineer**

**Job Summary**

Support and supervise the product quality activity in the assigned production section for achievement of Customer satisfaction, internal objectives, and continuous improvement in systems and procedural compliance with product standards assembly methods and IATF16949 standards in mature programs.

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordination of problem solving activities in accordance to established methodologies.
- Timely communication and updates on Customer returns and complaints in coordination with quality assistant manager/quality manager.
- Stop /reject material for non-compliance in product or procedure affecting potential quality or test compliance.
- Supervise quality assurance auditors to assure correct documentation and compliance with control plan.
- Write and approve test standards for 100 % check stations and assure they are properly carried out.
- Implementation and enforcement of quality audit system, training and coaching of QRQC.
- Monitoring and control of deviations in the areas of responsibility.
- Maintenance of PCPs. Review and approval of flow charts. Active participation in development and ongoing reviews of PFMEAs. Verification of Measurement Systems compliance to requirements and calibration schedule.
- Develop and extend layered audits.
- Preparation and submission of reports per specific requirements.
- As needed preparation of PPAP’s per AIAG guidelines, timely re-submissions as required and follow up on approvals.
- Coordination and monitoring of SPC activities in the areas of responsibility Policies and Procedures. Assure compliance with 6 sigma Quality.

**Qualifications**
- B.S. in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical or Electrical fields.
- At least 2 years’ experience in high volume manufacturing environment
- Experience in Quality field in automotive environment preferable
- Six sigma, process audits, GD&T, SPC, Kaizen, PDCA and 8D’s as required.
- English 75%

**Competences**
- Professional Competences: 5 Core Tools, Product Knowledge, Project Management, Audit skills¸ Quality management, knowledge and understanding of AIAG requirements (PPAP,MSA,SPC,etc), knowledge and understanding of IATF16949 (or similar standard) requirements, knowledge of statistical engineering techniques.
- General Competences: Leadership skills, result and Customer Orientation, Agility, Adaptability, Communication, Interpersonal Skills, Problem Solving.
