Position Overview

The MRO Buyer will locate, qualify and lead suppliers to provide the highest quality product at the lowest cost with the shortest lead. Daily tasks will include processing purchase requisitions, investigates and develops sources of supplies, prepares bid specifications, issues bid requests and reviews quotations.

**Responsibilities**:
Activities include but are not limited to:
Placement of MRO requisitions and purchase orders Tracking purchase orders MRO Goods and Services Quotes Negotiation of service contracts Selection and search for suppliers Registration of suppliers Indirect material inventory levels in tool crib Discrepancies of receipts vs invoice

Skills and Experience
- 5+ years related experience and/or training in procurement.
- Purchasing experience in manufacturing environment.
- Must have strong negotiation, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong experience working with MRP systems; SAP highly preferred.
- Solid Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, data manipulations)

Education

Bachelors Degree en Business o Engineering General
