- We are looking for our next HSEM process Safety.
- Responsabilities:
- Develop and support MXBU process safety procedures, and tools. Collaborate with Corporate Process Safety Team on standard improvements and communicate MXBU priorities.- Assure process safety requirements are implemented and sustained for Management of Change (MoC) and Pre-Start Up Safety Review (PSSR). Monitor, assess and report PSE and PSSR performance and communicate to leaders.- Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) facilitation and/or participation for operations and projects. Follow up on the implementation of PHA recommendations.- Collaborate with internal/external resources to conduct process safety studies to manage operational risks.- Review incidents and near-hits, support classification and investigation of process safety events. Drive actions to prevent re-occurrence and share learnings from Process Safety Events (PSE) across the MXBU and organization.- Support identification of Process Safety Critical Equipment (PSCE) and monitor performance and effectiveness of barriers/control measures.- Provide training and coaching to MXBU on Process Safety Fundamentals (PSF), PSSR, hazard awareness and leadership behaviors to drive the safety culture.- Monitor process safety performance (metrics) across the MXBU and conduct Tier 1 and 2 assurance activities.- Identify gaps and provide insights from process safety assessments.- Support process safety integration for: safe work practices, operating procedures, emergency planning and response, and support operational discipline.-
- Participate in determining continual improvement opportunities for implementing operational risk management activities.- Pursue continual improvement opportunities for the Process Safety requirements and practices; and- Monitor that the Process Safety requirements, enabling practices and training materials are effective, efficient and satisfy applicable legal and business requirements.
- Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience related to HSEM process Safety- Bilingual Spanish/English-
- Ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate multiple deliverables. Ability to effectively facilitate groups in a technical environment.- Able to influence others where they have no direct authority- Ability to analyze source content and extract relevant information for instructional purposes.-
- Highly effective time and project management skills.- Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.- Must have leadership, decision-making, and problem solving skills, as well as prioritizing skills.- Must be a team player, organized and methodical; demonstrated ability to meet established deadlines.
Technical requirements:
- Understanding Hazards and Risk- Hazard Identification- Lead the Process Safety- Comply with Management of Change (Moe)- Follow up the Operational Readiness (Pre-Startup Safety Review)- Asset Integrity (Inspection, testing and maintenance o critical equipment)- Implement effective process controls and alarms- Carry out Operating and maintenance procedures- Disclosure Safe Work Practices- Training and Competency of personnel- Consider Human factors in the process- Continuous Improvement- Execute Incident Investigation- Execute Audits- Follow up the Key Performance Indicators
