**Danfoss Mexico** is looking for a **Design Engineer**. As part of the business development of hydraulic steering in the Americas, we have decided to expand our manufacturing footprint with facilities in Queretaro, Mexico. We will build local engineering capabilities with a **design engineer.**
**Team Environment** You will be part of an innovative, global team with highly skilled engineers from Denmark, Slovakia, Japan, India, China, and the USA. We believe diversity and different cultural backgrounds are important for our team dynamic and achieving the best solutions for our customers.
**Responsibilities**:
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following.
- Product verification in footprint implementation projects
- Product changes including tests and documentation
- Support operations to ensure timely delivery and quality
- Support customer claim handling with product knowledge
- Advanced problem-solving in cross-functional teams
- Leading cross-functional projects, for example, customer projects
- Product responsibility for S25/S40
- Dahlia project team member on change management, PPAP, and Teamcenter
- Support PAE on customer inquiries/new variants
- Support operations to ensure high performance on delivery and quality
- Support sourcing projects on cost reduction and delivery
- Support engineering lab with test specs, analysis, and documentation
- Support customer claim handling with product knowledge
- Responsible for product changes and related documentation
- Responsible for maintenance of engineering documentation
- Leading cross-functional projects locally (NPD/PMI)
**Background & Skills**:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering with advanced skills or a strong interest in mechanical design and fluid mechanics
- Flair for mechanical designs and advanced skills in CAD
- Enjoy working in cross-functional teams
- Enjoy making technical solutions for complex issues
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written
