Casualty International in AIG is a leading provider of Casualty products and services for commercial insurance customers. It includes one of the world’s most far-reaching casualty networks and offers a broad range of products through a diversified, multichannel distribution network.
How you will create an impact
You will be part of a motivated team of Latin America Casualty Underwriters in a fast growing region within International Casualty of AIG. The role as Liability Senior Underwriter will predominantly involve: Manage, analyze, assess and quote Casualty General Liability & Environmental risks, major and middle market business in accordance with the AIG guidelines, authorities, strategy, processes and tools:

- Manage, analyze and defend an existent portfolio of business
- Build up a profitable book of business
- Underwrite new and renewal business to promote premium growth within UW authority.
- Prepare risk referrals for new and existing business
- Handle rater tools and prepare booking instructions
- Participate in client/broker meetings
- Monitor portfolio of the book in relationship with claims
- Handle the commercial relationship with clients and brokers
- Give presentations, trainings and take care of internal and external networking
- Invest in different underwriting excellence initiatives
