This Position reports to:
Planning & Fulfillment Manager

**Your role and responsibilities**

In this role, you will have the opportunity to supports the procurement team in sourcing and purchasing goods and services at competitive prices while maintaining quality standards and ensuring timely delivery. This role involves supplier communication, order processing, data management, and coordination with internal departments to meet purchasing needs.

The work model for the role is: #L-Onsite

This role is contributing to the **Electrification Team in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon**focusing on the sourcing and replenishment of direct or indirect materials from pre-assigned U.S.based suppliers.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Initiating Purchase Orders in the system, according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures, and confirming delivery with suppliers, monitoring, and tracking supplier performance to PO requirements.
- Negotiating agreements with main suppliers, and periodically renews price lists and terms and conditions. Recommending frame agreements to management and executing upon approval.
- Assist in sourcing suppliers and evaluating quotations based on price, quality, and delivery time.
- Place purchase orders and track their status to ensure timely delivery.
- Maintain accurate purchasing records and update supplier information. Support negotiations with vendors regarding pricing, terms, and conditions.
- Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with warehouse and planning teams.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures. Resolve issues related to delivery delays, shortages, or quality concerns. Prepare regular reports on purchase activities and supplier performance.

**Qualifications for the role**
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineer or related field
- Strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineer or related field (2 years of experience in purchasing or procurement roles).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with ERP systems is a plus.
- English fluency (written and spoken) is required.
- Knowledge of demand forecasting or plant projection.
- APICS is a plus.
