THE ROLE:
As an Indirect Procurement Buyer you will collaborate across teams to develop new procurement approaches and to solve complex business problems in a fast-moving and constantly changing environment. You will be responsible of acting as an enabler of organizational changes to adopt suitable buying channels and adoption of new systems.
Develop strong collaborative relationships with key stakeholders across the organization to strategically manage and implement organizational change while maintaining key business objectives in sight.
Work cross-functionally to identify suppliers within the scope of the category requirements
Monitor market trends, competitor strategies and market suppliers
Maintain strong supplier and internal relationships and effective communication

YOUR IMPACT:
As an Indirect Procurement Buyer you will facilitate the implementation, adoption and serve as an enabler of best practices in the industry to elevate procurement operations within Ford Motor Company. Ensuring best value for the money while maintaining the process integrity at the highest level is top priority. You will influence key stakeholders across the organization, building a network of peers looking to achieve the same goals.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

- Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain)
- 4 years of experience in Procurement Area (Indirect Purchasing desirable)
- Languages: Spanish & English (proficient)
- Strategic vision across multiple skill-teams to make effective recommendations
- Planning, organizational, and prioritization skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical thinking and decision-making skills
Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships and influence key stakeholders
- High resilience and tolerance to frustration
- Curious by nature
**Preferred Qualifications**:

- An influential communicator, who communicates effectively, listens conscientiously, and actively seeks and values the perspectives of others
- Understanding the applied practice, concepts and process several procurement fields (e.g., category management, contract negotiation, policies and procedures, project management)
- Experienced in T&Cs / legal elements of business to help quickly assess Ford risk
- Experience with Ariba P2P and S2C
- Experience dealing with international suppliers and manage cultural differences
- Management of complexity (high number of suppliers and components)
- Maturity to interface with different X-functional teams
