Technical Project Manager

Slalom Mexico is seeking a Consultant or Senior Consultant-level Technical Project Manager to join our Delivery Leadership Capability. **What You’ll Do**
- Oversee a portfolio of projects from inception to completion, ensuring coordination of shared resources, common activities, and other dependencies across all projects.
- Ensure that project deliverables can be integrated to become the overall result (product, service) and are fit to deliver the expected benefits.
- Maintain the client relationship and keep the client and stakeholders engaged in the project (ie: status reporting, issues management, and risk management) ensuring alignment and transparency throughout the project lifecycle.
- Develop detailed project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.
- Utilize Agile methodologies to tailor project approaches based on specific project requirements and goals.
- Hold teams accountable to project timelines. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
- Facilitate regular project meetings, including status updates, sprint planning, and retrospectives, to promote collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and provide regular financial reports to stakeholders.
- Mentor and support project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Support the development of internal processes, documentation, and knowledge sharing.

**What You’ll Bring**
- Must live within commuting distance of our Guadalajara office.
- 5+ years of technical agile project management experience.
- Previous project management experience on data and advance analytics development projects.
- Expert in Agile project management methodologies.
- Consulting experience - the ability to hit the ground running as a technical project manager or Agile project lead.
- Deep knowledge in all phases of the technology project lifecycle including the identification of the business problem, business case, and project plan development through project management, financial management and closeout.
- An ability to identify potential people-side risks/anticipated points of resistance, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong technical background with a good understanding of data and advance analytics capabilities, dev/ops and infrastructure.
- Knowledge of AI concepts as applied in project management contexts and/or experience in managing projects that involve the development or deployment of AI-based solutions, is preferred.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
