The CAD Designer will be based in Mexico City. The CAD Designer will be working at a Nextracker office. Hybrid scheduled might be available.

What a typical day looks like:

- _ Provide design support to develop tracker layouts, CAD blocks, mechanical sets, and full construction plan sets._
- _ Review pertinent site information, design inputs, and assist in selecting appropriate product types based on site conditions._
- _ Work with a team of engineers located in our India office updating to new product configurations and drafting standards and potentially developing automation procedures._
- _ Work with the Project Engineering team to conduct value engineering exercises to lower costs on an individual project basis._
- _ Coordinate with Nextracker's Designers in other regions to create and update new product standards, design changes, and project related issues._
- _ Learn topography analysis, hydrology analysis, in order to determine best tracker placement._

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

- _ BA/BS or equivalent work experience_._
- _ AUTOCAD experience or knowledge._
- _ English Intermediate - Advanced._
- _ Solar energy design experience would be considered a PLUS._
