**Sr. Quality Assurance Enginee**

Senior Quality Engineer with a passion for problem solving and satisfying customers. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for analyzing an organization's processes and identifying new ways to improve productivity, efficiency, and operational costs. This position requires excellent communication skills, an action-oriented attitude, and the ability to prioritize.

**Job duties and responsibilities**:

- Plan, conduct and report on system and process audits to confirm compliance to QR/QS (Quality Requirement/Quality Standards) as well as quality system.
- Champion and mentor production facility in Built in Quality elements such as problem solving, FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), control plan, six sigma, statistical controls, error proofing, and change control
- Ensure that customer requirements are identified, met and properly validated. Approve inspection procedures and plans that determine quality levels and costs.
- Investigate, resolve, and document customer complaints.
- Information on the voice of the client, report, monitoring of indicators (PPM, WC, etc.) and action plans to get objectives.
- Develop and design irreversible corrective actions for known problems. Use established problem-solving techniques to reduce process variation.
- Resolve and disposition non-conforming material in timely manner holds, raw materials, product holds, finished and returned goods.
- Experience in development and use of tools such as: FMEA or HACCP risk assessments, design control analysis, SPC, DMAIC, Root Cause, Six Sigma and Value Stream Mapping
- Assist manufacturing departments in developing their Control Plans and Work Instructions in accordance to their PFMEAs, Process Flows, quality system's procedures and customer requirements.

**Knowledge, Skills & Abilities**
- Extensive knowledge and/or training in Core Tools (PPAP) and ISO IATF 16949
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to make timely decisions while functioning in a fast-paced changing work environment.
- Experience using written and verbal communication skills effectively in a professional environment, with the ability to communicate to a broad audience of technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to collaborate in a cross-functional team with products and manufacturing processes to influence change at all organizational levels
- Ability to get results, handle pressure, and deliver feedback

**Education & Experience**
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or other related study strongly preferred.
- English b2
- 8+ years QA experience
- Experience with, and knowledge of automotive systems and vehicle part manufacturing processes
- Experience with Lean and Six Sigma tools and methodologies, including business process mapping, designing role-based flow charts, creating implementation plans, and documenting process improvements
