**Field Service Technician**
**Contract - minimum of 10 months**
Peak Scientific, a fast-growing organization specializing in the manufacture of laboratory gas generators for the life science and biomedical market, is looking to recruit a talented Field Service Technician for the Mexico area. Reporting to the Service Admin Coordinator, this role involves extensive travel around the region.

We export 90% of our sales to approximately 126 countries. We have an expanding operation in LATAM with offices in Brazil and Mexico. **Key tasks**
- Carrying out routine maintenance, emergency repairs, installations and training as well as general support in a professional, prompt and efficient manner to ensure total customer satisfaction
- Providing customers with a clear and accurate service report for all work carried out
- Submitting all service reports at the end of each week or as requested by the office
- Maintaining and replenishing personal boot stock of parts and carry out inventory checks as requested
- Ensuring an effective liaison with other Peak departments (sales, marketing, logistics, engineering and production) to ensure a high level of communication and co-operation for all aspects of customer and product support
- Informing service manager of all serious customer complaints and escalations
With exceptional customer service and communication skills, you will also possess:
- Experience of working with pressure systems and transportable gases
- Experience of electronics, hydraulics and mechanical systems
- Self-motivation and the ability to work with mínimal supervision
- Good practical skills and a methodical, positive approach to resolving problems.
- Ability to work under pressure against tight deadlines
- A flexible approach to travel with a valid license and vehicle
- Fluency in English and local language
